“Wonderful day exploring the Champagne region. Our guide was Sebastien and he was wonderful! We had a great group of people. The first bonus stop at Taittinger was fantastic. A quick visit to the Notre Dame followed by the visit to Le Clos Corbier showed us how an old traditional champagne house operates. Lunch was wonderful at Le Théâtre in Épernay. The final champagne house was Nicolas Fiullette which was amazing. Final stop was a lovely viewpoint and a blind tasting to test what we had learned throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

“The tour visited the Cathedrale de Reims, a small champagne grower (Delaunois Chanez) and a big one (Nicolas Feuillate) with tastings at both. We passed through village of Hautvilliers past the gravesite of Dom Perignon, and enjoyed walking in fields of pinot meunier above Cumières in the Marme Valley, eating some leftover grapes. Our guide, Frankie, was knowledgeable and charming. The tours of both champagne houses were interesting, but we liked hearing from Élodie, the owner of Delaunois Chanez the best. If you get a chance, buy some champagne from her, because it’s not exported to the U.S.”

“We had a great time with my family on the Champagne tour. The guide Saeed was friendly and entertained us with stories and trivia throughout the day. The vineyard was a great start to the day and I appreciated the contrast between the first and last venue in scale of production. I had chicken for lunch which was just what I was craving. He also made a nice stop at the Notre Dame church and Dom Perignon’s chapel. Philipe stopped at a gas station so we could picked up sandwiches and croissants and they were the bomb!”

“We were running late on the Paris trains the day we were scheduled (the day before the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, so there was a lot of travel issues in the city). We emailed Viator at 7:30am (following the procedure on our booking info that said to Viator an email and they would contact the tour agent) that we would be at the pick up spot at 8:21.
