“Wonderful day exploring the Champagne region. Our guide was Sebastien and he was wonderful! We had a great group of people. The first bonus stop at Taittinger was fantastic. A quick visit to the Notre Dame followed by the visit to Le Clos Corbier showed us how an old traditional champagne house operates. Lunch was wonderful at Le Théâtre in Épernay. The final champagne house was Nicolas Fiullette which was amazing. Final stop was a lovely viewpoint and a blind tasting to test what we had learned throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

Lunch was perfect, but indoors not outside. Note: Drop off is near Notre Dame, not at your hotel like pick up was. HIGHLY recommend this tour - ask for Aurelian (Lance)!”

“The tour visited the Cathedrale de Reims, a small champagne grower (Delaunois Chanez) and a big one (Nicolas Feuillate) with tastings at both. We passed through village of Hautvilliers past the gravesite of Dom Perignon, and enjoyed walking in fields of pinot meunier above Cumières in the Marme Valley, eating some leftover grapes. Our guide, Frankie, was knowledgeable and charming. The tours of both champagne houses were interesting, but we liked hearing from Élodie, the owner of Delaunois Chanez the best. If you get a chance, buy some champagne from her, because it’s not exported to the U.S.”
