“The English guide did not turn up we were joined in with a French guide and group. Our entry time was 2:45pm, we got into the Palace at 3:10 the guide then suggested a toilet visit would be appropriate, we started the tour at 3:30 and finished at 4:20pm. The biggest problem was the sheer number of tourists in the Palace at the same time made the tour uncomfortable. The actual experience of the Palace and gardens was unmissable but I would suggest booking in the day as early as possible and avoid Sunday if you can, bearing in mind the site is closed on a Monday.”
