Since the tour was full (50 or so people) and the Monet garden was packed, it may have been nice to have two guides to help with navigating the gardens since some people had to work their way back to the group in the crowd”

“Agnes was very knowledgeable, timely with her explanations and kept us on schedule. She had interesting facts that weren’t found in the audio tour. Well worth the money! Monet’s Maison was beautiful. The gardens are immaculately curated and there is nowhere else on earth like it.”

“It is very handy to be able to get to both venues in one day. Our guide was lovely. Lunch was at a charming old mill venue and just right. Versailles was about as minimal a walk through of both palace and gardens as could be. So, if time is short, this is a good option. If you really want to take your time and perhaps get more in depth access to Versailles especially, consider a booking that includes more of the private areas.”

“The bike ride was too difficult for me and it was pouring rain and there was no alternate plan for arrival to Giverny. The guide was excellent and the gardens are a must-see. But be aware that if you are not a skilled rider, and able to climb hills just take an ordinary tour. This tour consists of stopping in a village near Giverny to purchase your own picnic lunch, riding to a park to eat your lunch, and then riding 2 miles to Giverny, where you walk through the gardens and museum/house, then ride back. Again, Giverny is beautiful and a must-see while in the Paris region, but only…”
